In 2006, the Idaho Elks Rehabilitation Hospital was given a 3-year accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for the following programs:
Medical Rehabilitation Programs
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs - Hospital(Adults)
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs - Hospital (Children and Adolescents)
Brain Injury Program
- Brain Injury Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs - Hospital (Adults)
- Brain Injury Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs - Hospital (Children and Adolescents)
- Brain Injury Outpatient Rehabilitation Programs (Adults)
- Brain Injury Outpatient Rehabilitation Programs (Children and Adolescents)
This accreditation outcome, which represents the hightest level of accreditation, is awarded to organizations that show substantial fulfillment of the standards established by CARF. This clearly indicates that present conditions represent quality care and optimal outcomes of these services. This latest action marks the 10th consecutive three-year accreditation awarded to Idaho Elks Rehabilitation by CARF, a private, not-for-profit, Tucson-based accreditation body established in 1966. This international accreditation body is committed to promoting the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of the persons served.
