Thank you for your interest in employment at Idaho Elks Rehabilitation Hospital. The following information will help you as you apply for a position at the hospital.

• Applications are accepted only for those positions identified in the Open Positions Listing binder located in the Employee Services office, by calling the Job Line at (208) 489-4002 or on this web site. In addition, advertisements are often placed in the local paper(s).
  
  
• Before completing the application, review the accompanying job description. The job description will list the essential qualifications, essential job functions and physical requirements.
  
  
• If able to perform the essential functions (with or without accommodation) and meet the essential qualifications of the position, complete the application. Remember that the application will be the primary tool used to determine eligibility for an interview, so be as thorough as possible.
  
  
• Each application is valid for only one position. A new application must be submitted if applying for more than one position.
  
  
• Incomplete applications will not be processed. Please answer all application questions completely. Resumes will not be accepted in place of applications but may be attached.
  
  
• Due to the high number of open positions, we are unable to contact every candidate who submits an application. If we determine you are one of the most qualified candidates, you will be contacted for an interview.
  
  
• The appropriate department reviews all applications submitted to Employee Services. If you are not selected for an interview, you will not be contacted. If you have not been contacted by Employee Services or appropriate hiring department within four to six weeks, you can assume that another, more qualified applicant, has been chosen and your application will remain active for 90 days in case the same position becomes available.
