Apply for a Grant

Idaho Elks Rehab awards two types of grants to support physical rehab efforts in Idaho: Community Rehab grants and Local Lodge grants.

Who Can Apply

Applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in the state of Idaho.

Grant Cycle

June 1–September 15: Applications accepted.
Early November: Grants awarded.

Community Rehab Grants

Community Rehabilitation Grants are awarded to Idaho 501 (c) (3) organizations to help assure the availability of quality physical rehabilitation services in communities throughout the state. Projects could include state-of-the-art equipment used in physical rehab, staff education or training, research, or program development as related to rehab.


Grant applications are due by September 1.





Rehab Medicine Grants

These grants are awarded to rehab providers, universities, or other nonprofit organizations like cities or counties. Monies can be used to purchase capital rehab equipment, offer continuing education to rehab professionals, provide rehab-related community education, or fund research.

Local Lodge Grants

Local Lodge Grants help Elks Lodges in Idaho address community rehabilitation needs by helping make the community healthier and more accessible to people in need of physical rehabilitation. Projects could include an accessible trail, wheelchair-accessible ramp, or an automatic door at a senior center.


Grant applications are due by September 15.
